Text Box: Golden Shores RV Park is situated in Topock, Az. Topock is the first town in western Arizona on Route 66 along the east bank of the Colorado River. The park overlooks Goose Lake, is 5 miles from the Topock boat launch and just 1 mile from a grocery store, post office, 2 gas stations, hardware store, laundry, library and several food establishments.

Text Box: Boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing and swimming are nearby on the Colorado River and Goose Lake. There are a number of nearby golf courses where you can try out your game. If you have an off-road vehicle, there is a vast expanse of desert to explore, and hiking, hunting, fishing and boating are permitted in the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge subject to certain conditions. Historic Oatman is only 22 miles away. Weekends in Oatman can see anything from classic car rallies to mock "Wild West" shootouts right down the middle of old route 66. Goose Lake is a splendid location to catch striper and catfish, while Havasu Wildlife Refuge is the place for bird watching. Boats and personal water crafts can be launched from the Topock Marina, and off-road vehicles can be driven for miles on the beaten paths thru the desert.

Share a book at the book exchange, pump it up in the exercise room, test your prowess at one of our poker parties, share your favorite dish at the pot luck dinners, or just relax with some popcorn and a movie. Our events calendar is designed to bring our guests together to enjoy the laid back attitude and friendly hospitality of our park staff.

Events Calendar

From I-40: Take exit 1 north 5 miles to Golden Shores, turn west (left) on Powell Lake Rd. Proceed approximately 1 mile to Waterreed Way. We are located on the corner of Powell Lake Rd and Waterreed Way.

From Bullhead City: Take Hwy 95 (Mohave Valley Hwy) south to Courtwright Rd. Turn east (left) and continue on Hwy 95 to Powell Lake Rd in Golden Shores. Turn west (right) and proceed approximately 1 mile to the park on the corner of Waterreed Way and Powell Lake Rd.
